Know Someone Who Needs A GED?
If you or someone you know is ready to prepare for the GED Tests or just wants to polish up on basic skills like math or science, you'll be happy to know that GED preparation can now be done online at KYVAE.org! KYVAE.org, a Web site of the Kentucky Department for Adult Education & Literacy, is KYVU's partner in adult education. This site offers FREE online courses for Kentuckians seeking their GED and who are interested in developing job or life skills. The New GED Tests are FREE for a Limited Time
Adults taking the new GED Tests in Kentucky between Jan. 22 and June 30, 2002 will not have to pay the test fee. The Kentucky Council on Postsecondary Education has approved funding for the free GED program to encourage more Kentuckians to take the new tests. To receive the waiver, test takers must first qualify with the official practice test, and they must take the entire test battery. For more information call 1-877-740-4357or visit the link below.
