Message for Kentucky's State Employees
State government employees, based in Frankfort and adjacent
counties (identified as Franklin, Woodford, Scott, Owen, and
Shelby counties), who register for courses through the KYVC
and seek tuition reimbursement must seek an exception to this
policy: The Secretary of the Finance and Administration Cabinet
will direct that the use of state training funds and tuition
assistance is not to be approved for non-KSU programs where
such a program is offered and available at KSU, except as otherwise
restricted by pre-existing contractual obligations or where
geographically inappropriate. Seek advice from your agency administrator.
